Translation: “O you who believe! Fasting has been prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, so that you may attain piety.”

لَا یَعْصُوْنَ اللّٰہَ مَا اَمَرَھُمْ وَیَفْعَلُوْنَ مَا یُوْمَرُوْنَ
(Surah At-Tahrim)

Translation: “They (the angels) do not disobey Allah in what He commands them but do what they are ordered.”

(Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim)

Translation: “Whoever fasts during Ramadan with faith and seeking reward, all his past sins will be forgiven.”

Ramadan is the month in which the Quran was revealed. Devoting more time to its recitation brings immense rewards.

3. Performing Taraweeh

Taraweeh prayers are a special form of night worship during Ramadan and hold great significance.

Ramadan encourages generosity. Donating to the needy brings immense rewards and is highly recommended.
